Extract Papaya & Calamansi herbal soap bar, 125g

If you grew up with an orange-and-white box of Extract soap on the bathroom shelf, or you've seen it all over beauty pages, you already know why people go looking for it. Here's a quick guide to the bar, how to use it, and where to buy it in the US.

What is Extract Papaya & Calamansi soap?

Extract Papaya & Calamansi is a 125g herbal bar soap made with two fruit extracts: papaya and calamansi, a small citrus fruit often called Philippine lime. It's known for a creamy lather and a fresh citrus scent that stays with you after your shower. Many people use it on both face and body as part of their everyday routine.

How to use Extract soap

Lather up: wet your skin and the bar, then work up a lather in your hands.
Massage gently over face or body for 30–60 seconds, avoiding the eye area.
Rinse well with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Moisturize: follow with a body butter or lotion. Our Eden shea body butter is a popular pairing.
Use sunscreen during the day, as you would with any skincare routine.

New to the bar? Patch-test on a small area first, and stop using it if your skin becomes irritated. It's for external use only.

How long does a bar last?

With daily use, most people get a few weeks from one bar. Let it dry between uses on a draining soap dish, because a bar that sits in water wears down much faster. If Extract is part of your routine, a pack of 3 or 6 is the better value.

Extract vs. other papaya soaps

Papaya soaps come in many styles. Extract stands out for adding calamansi, which gives it its signature citrus scent. If you like to switch things up, we also stock Likas Original Papaya Soap and Pure Herbal Papaya. See them all in our papaya soap collection.
